Concert reminder

Just a reminder that our first concert of this year is almost upon us. It is very exciting that we have the young trumpeter Sasha Canter, who was the brass section winner of the 2022 BBC YoungMusician competition. After the great performance of the Taunton Young Musician Anthony Knight last December, this will prove to be an exciting concert. Sasha will play the Torelli trumpet concerto, and an arrangement of a concerto by Handel. we also offer the Little Suite by Nielsen, the first of the four Albinoni concerti grossi we are playing this year, and works by Webern (a love song) and Dvorak. Tickets, full price £15 from the TVC, via the web site and on the door. We think that the hugely talented Sasha also has an encore up his sleeve, which he has arrange for trumpet himself. A concert not to be missed - 3pm in Sunday February 12th in the Temple Methodist Church, Taunton.
