Evening of Georgian music and words at Crowcombe House Taunton Sinfonietta played at Crowcombe House as part of the 2015 Taunton Live music week. It was a fabulous evening, costumes and all, enjoyed by all lucky enough to attend.
10th Anniversary Celebration Taunton Sinfonietta recently marked ten years with Mary Eade as musical director. A small surprise party was organised after the September 2014 concert - the very successful September Serenades - when Mary was presented with a special cake to mark the occasion. How time flies! Taunton Sinfonietta has of course been going for many more years than ten and it's wonderful that it is still going so strong.
Ronald Cann I trained at the West of England College of Art, specialising in Illustration, and worked as a freelance artist, producing travel literature, guides for the Counties of Britain and even wild west strip cartoons. I am able to take commissions for paintings and illustrations. I have had numerous one-man shows and contributed to many group exhibitions. My work is in collections in the U.S.A, Canada and Europe. My paintings and prints are inspired not only by local scenes in Somerset but also by travels in Europe, the USA and Africa. See more of my works on my website.
